Manager – Program Monitoring

Breakthrough is looking for a Manager – Program Monitoring. The person will be responsible for
designing program monitoring systems and tools, implementation of all program monitoring
activities, the specific Job Responsibilities will include:
Job Description-

• Design programme monitoring and reporting systems and tools
• Lead the planning and implementation of all programme monitoring activities
• Support in evidence based decision making
• Analyze monitoring and reporting data and communicate timely to staff
• Conduct quarterly project performance reviews with project staff and other stakeholders and monitor implementation of actions
• Prepared periodic program and project reports such as key performance indicator reports, donor quarterly, bi-annual and annual reporting requirements
• Support the state monitoring people in preparing data for internal and external reports as
  required

Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required

• Degree in relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience
• 6-8 years’ experience in the development sector including specific program monitoring experience (Monitoring Systems, tools design, implementation, data collection, entry, cleaning, analysis, reporting)
• Experience in training others in program monitoring
• Excellent IT, written and verbal communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English with exceptional written and verbal Communication skills
• A good understanding of contemporary development issues particularly those related to young people in the field of gender, health and livelihoods
• Excellent organizational skills and understanding of monitoring and evaluation practices
