Assistant Manager – Scale up and Strategic Partnership

Breakthrough is looking for an Assistant manager – Scale up and Strategic Partnership, who would be working closely with Deputy Director –Scale Up (Strategic Partnership and scale up). The person will be coordinating the scale up program and should have working experience on gender equality program with adolescents and prior experience of working with Government department.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Successful implementation of the Punjab Scale up program.
• Regular coordination with the designated team members of SCERT Punjab and School Education Board of Punjab.
• Support in planning and coordination with Breakthrough’s training team and with the external resource persons for training and process documentation.
• Planning and execution of the all the training designed for the scale up program with District mentors, Block mentors and teachers.
• Provide help in creating job aids / training aids
• Quality monitoring of the cascade training of teachers
• Monitoring of sessions’ delivery at the school level.
• Update real time MIS and database.
• Support and closely work with other team members and collaborate with other Centers in Breakthrough (media/M&E/training HR).

Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required

• At least 5-6 years of experience on adolescent right and empowerment issue.
• Prior experience of networking with Government department
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills to lead relationships with external stakeholders.
• Ability to absorb pressure and uncertainty within the ecosystem and build generative long-term solutions.
• Excellent communication and writing skills Hindi and Punjabi
• Master’s degree in social work or gender studies or equivalent (Desirable)
• Computer skill are required and must be proficient in using tools of MS Office.

The candidate should have the ability to work in an informal atmosphere and willing to do any additional work given by Govt department people.
