We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT professional to lead and manage digital initiatives, with a strong focus on website development, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Custom applications. This role is pivotal in bridging business needs with technical execution, ensuring seamless collaboration with vendors, internal stakeholders, and development teams. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical acumen, project management expertise, and a passion for supporting the mission of a not-for-profit organization.

The specific job responsibilities are mentioned below:

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Oversight & Project Execution

  • Oversee end-to-end website, LMS and custom application development & support projects.
  • Collaborate with vendors to translate business requirements into functional specifications and deliverables.
  • Conduct thorough requirement gathering, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Conduct user training sessions and create user-friendly documentation for digital platforms.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage vendor relationships, including scope definition, content coordination, timeline adherence, and change request handling.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Programs) to streamline project execution and approvals.

Project Communication & Documentation

  • Conduct meetings, prepare and circulate Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), project status updates, and executive presentations.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Raise and track Purchase Requisitions (PRs), process vendor payments, and maintain documentation for audit and compliance.
  • Support IT budgeting, procurement planning, and asset tracking as needed.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and drive a team of developers, ensuring effective task allocation, progress tracking, and quality assurance.

Skills, Competencies & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on website, LMS and custom application development.
  • Proven experience in vendor coordination, project scoping, and change management.
  • Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, testing, and user training.
  • Proficiency in project documentation, including MoMs, presentations, and status reports.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and administrative workflows in a not-for-profit or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working in or with not-for-profit organizations.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
