Breakthrough is looking for an individual to MIS report data accumulation, data analysis based on reports provided by State Teams, creating and maintaining the Project Implementation Plan (PIP), providing support to Evaluation team in periodic monitoring, and preparation of monthly progress reports as well as periodic donor reports. This position holder will work in close coordination with the program team and will report to the Director – Program.

The key responsibilities will be as mentioned below:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective reporting of state level inputs and outputs for benefit of the Program implementation
  • Ensure that all the planned activities at the all the states level are entered in and tracked by MIS
  • Creating PIP, making sure that the PIP is on track and raising concerns with various stakeholders within the Program team, when required
  • Monthly collection, collation and presentation of progress reports from all states for the program activities planned
  • Efficient inter-center coordination for delivering planned outputs
  • Facilitate the need of services/support from different centers for smooth execution of program activities is met
  • Ensure that Interface created for each state team to facilitate their inputs in center level consultations
  • Create effective repository of implementation data and update it every month
  • Support the state and evaluation teams in dissemination and tracking of program review and feedback
  • Ensure the recommendations given by Evaluation Team are converted into action plan for next quarter
  • Working on donor reporting and coordinating with the Resource Mobilization team as well as the state level documentation person for the same.

MIS

  • Ensure effective program budget management and financial accountability at PIP level.
  • Represent Breakthrough at various state and national level forums to further program objectives.
  • Regular supervision and monitoring at the state level along with data validation.
  • Support state and district MIS person for gap analysis; identify critical control points and preventive measures; suggest ways in which existing procedures may be streamlined or revised to enhance quality and consistency.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting and ensure linkage to outcomes.
  • Support the Research & Evaluation team for concurrent evaluation and research studies.
  • Support the development of data collection instruments for Breakthrough’s digital systems such as – Digital enrolment system / BTC, etc.

Specific Knowledge, Skill & Experience Required:

  • Preferred any Post Graduate or any other relevant field with at least 8 to 12 years of similar work experience.
  • Experience of handling large scale data sets with ability to interpret data. 
  • Experience in MS-Excel (Advanced), SPSS and or other quantitative and qualitative analytical package.
  • Should have sound knowledge on documentation and proven skills on documentation of project learning.
  • Proven experience in report collation. 
  • Experience of working with multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary teams based in different locations is preferable.
  • An attitude of collaboration is a must.
