Monica was 14 and in Class 9 when she was married. A year later, she was sent back to her parents. Her dreams of being a teacher turned to dust.

One in four girls like Monica is married when still a child.
Denied schooling, a childhood, dreams, an identity.
But you can change this.

As a country we will have no demographic dividend but a looming disaster if we cannot become a country which is friendly and safe for the girl child and its women and treat them as equals. The change has to be at a social level and male mindsets need to change and hence, my support to Breakthrough's efforts.
