Assistant Manager – MIS & Documentation.

Breakthrough is looking for an Assistant Manager – MIS & Documentation who will be working closely with the State Lead. The person will be the single point of contact for all the program MIS and reporting work for the team, should be able to design, prepare, and produce reports, write ups, and should have experience in documenting large program. 

The specific job responsibilities are mentioned below.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document MIS through Monthly/quarterly/half-yearly and yearly progress report;
  • Coordination with relevant government officials at state level for project related MIS data;
  • Coordination with district level relevant government officials for MIS data and consolidation;
  • Coordination with the appropriate government office for MIS data on book printing, distribution and consolidation;
  • Document year on year training MIS data and its analysis;
  • Undertake periodical visits to assess the systems and verify data;
  • Undertake program field visit to understand data and stories;
  • Support the team in documentation of success stories;
  • Support in file processing for government approval;
  • Support in coordination with different verticals of government department;
  • Create, track and analysis of online template/ google forms for training and other MIS purposes;
  • Document and track year on year government budget allocation and expenses for the project;
  • Prepare MIS updates for weekly, bi-monthly, quarterly and annual meetings of the centre;
  • Coordinate with other centres for MIS data and other project related works; 
  • Ensure maintenance of programmatic database and its regular update; 
  • Any other work as assigned by the Supervisor.

Skills, Competencies & Experience Required:

  • 5-7 years of experience in the same field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to absorb pressure and uncertainty within the organization;
  • Excellent reading and writing skills in Odia and English languages;
  • Hands on experience in the basic computer applications like Microsoft office (word, excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Must have experience in using mobile based data collection tools.
