Breakthrough is looking for an Assistant Manager -Software Development with 5+ years of experience in building scalable applications. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in ASP.NET4.6 and above, ASP.NET Core, MS SQL Server (advanced stored procedures), and Bootstrap. The role involves backend architecture design, development, database optimization, API development, and building responsive user interfaces.
This role will report to the Deputy Director-IT and will have to perform the key responsibilities as mentioned below:

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET 4.6 (MVC/WebForms) and  ASP.NET Core (.NET 8/9/10). 
  • Design, develop, and optimize complex MS SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers. 
  • Perform query optimization, indexing, and execution plan analysis for performance tuning. 
  • Build responsive and user-friendly UI using Bootstrap 5, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services. 
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term scalable solutions.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, and DevOps.

Skills, Competencies & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in ASP.NET development. 
  • Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming concepts. 
  • Experience with ASP.NET 4.6 and above (MVC/WebForms) and ASP.NET Core.
  • Advanced expertise in MS SQL Server including stored procedures and database performance  tuning. 
  • Experience with Bootstrap 5 and modern frontend technologies. 
  • Strong knowledge of REST API development and integration. 
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems. 
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud deployments. 
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. 
  • Experience working on ERP or enterprise-level applications.
  • Experience in legacy-to-modern .NET migration projects.
