Youth in Karnataka promised to make Kuppepadavu Panchyath a violence free Panchyath on Gandhi Jayanthi.

The event included a cultural programme by Tarikita Kalakammata. Bantala, songs of awareness, image theatre, as well as a discussion and a quiz.
